ClutterHuck—mobile decluttering app

UI/UX Project
Project Overview
A research-based UI/UX Prototype that aims to digitize clutter inventory, facilitate decluttering via AI imaging and recommender tools, and connect organizations and users with an emphasis on community and achievement motivatations
My Contributions
Along with my team of 5, we surveyed 160+ participants to identify design needs and analyzed responses via thematic analysis in Miro. We reached a demographic of Filipinos aged 18-60 from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao

We built and iterated through prototypes in Figma/Canva and refined them through usability testing

We presented the final design to Filipino UI/UX experts and received positive professional feedback
Anchored in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12 or “Responsible Consumption and Production”, specifically its sub-target 12.5 which states that "By 2030, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse”, and needfinding data from 160+ survey respondents,
We constructed a mobile app prototype that has three main features:
1. Digital Categorization of Clutter Help
2. Connection to Recycling/Donation Orgs
3. Connection for Peer-to-Peer Donations

This experience ignited my passion for validated learning and constructing user-centered apps that actually make an impact on sustainability and day-to-day life.
